0 – Introduction

So this hack will work with almost any drill that has this same problem – namely that the magnets come loose from the motor can (these instructions are specifically for the Bosch PSB24 VE-2).  How do we make it into a super drill? Simply by upgrading the magnets significantly, to neodymium monsters!  This works particularly well for the Bosch PSB24 VE-2, because this is a fantastic drill in all regards except its loose magnets – the gearbox, torque settings, chuck, battery and charger are all top notch stuff – it is well worth upgrading.

Take away the forlorn ferrite magnets – we want to get neodymium versions, with the same dimensions and use them instead.
